Added Protection for Member Accounts
Members who are registered have access to personalized information about their Health Options Program coverage through the Member Dashboard. This is a website managed by Luminare Health, our partner that administers the Health Options Program’s benefits.
Luminare has added a second layer of security to the member dashboard with the introduction of multifactor authentication (MFA). MFA enhances the security of your information, because it uses more than a password to confirm your identity.
It is like using two keys to unlock a treasure chest—one might be your password, and the other could be a code sent to your phone. It helps make sure that only you can get into your account, even if someone guesses your password. This is important, because it keeps your personal information safe.
What You Need to Know
MFA is currently optional, but all members must enable MFA on their accounts by September 17, 2025. We encourage you to set up MFA for your account today.
What You Need to Do
To add MFA to your account, follow these simple steps:
- Click the Log-In button on HOPbenefits.com, and enter your username and password. You’ll be prompted to set up MFA.
- Choose how to receive your MFA verification code—either via a text message or email.
- Enter the verification code and select Trust Device.
- Continue to the landing page of the member dashboard.
